joanne asked:

I am not being charges any sales tax from the vendor. It is now after-the fact. It is about 58,000. worth of goods purchased over 6 months. I have not paid and I want to stay honest. - Should I call and talk to IRS and what could be penalty for late pay. I owe about 3500.

The IRS has nothing to do with Sales Tax. You need to contact the Florida Department of Revenue.

If you were selling products to end users, you should’ve been collecting sales tax.

If you were selling to stores, you don’t have to collect sales tax but you do need a copy of their resale certificate on file.
