I Hope Congress Does NOT Extend the Internet Tax Ban. I Love Regressive Taxes that Affect Low Income People?
Duminos asked:
Are the Dems like me? Do they hope to use the internet to make low income people pay sales taxes?
What does it say about Dems when they do all they can to keep using regressive taxes such as sales tax?
Do you support me and the Dems? If not, vote to get rid of Hillary and Pelosi.

What it says about the Dems is that they do not care one whit about the source of the money they wish to shower on their political base. They’ll take it from the lower classes through cigarette, sales, and lotto taxes, from lobbyists for large corporations who are literally pouring cash into Dem coffers as we speak, and, oh yes, from the “rich” - many of whom are their most ardent supporters. It would take a book to detail all of the “say one thing and do another” nonsense engaged in by the Dems. Sad, but true.
The Dems are frauds, even worse than the Reps. Nothing new there, unfortunately, for those who really do care about the folks who need a helping hand. Funny how the lot of the lower classes never really changes - not in their educational attainment, which is getting worse; not in their relative financial circumstances, which is also getting worse; and certainly not in their expectations that their Dem betters are actually looking out for them instead of for themselves first.
What? A democrat proposing a regressive tax? Thats only the third time I’ve heard that proposal in the 9 months since they took Congress (gas tax, cigarette tax, internet tax).
Every three months, the Democrats will come up with a new way to tax from the bottom up? Awesome.
Now, someone tell me how this is different than Bush’s bottom-up inflation tax…
Regressive? I thought more affluent people than poor people have computers and access to the internet. Gas taxes regressive? Don’t the rich drive gas-guzzling SUV’s while the poor take public transportation. Tobacco taxes regressive? In Texas, it would cost around $90 a month to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day; poor people just need to prioritize. $90 can probably buy a health insurance policy. If my mother quit smoking, we would’ve had more money. Even if cigarettes weren’t taxed, her habit would still take food out of our mouths. Actually, the South is the poorest region in the country and most southern states are Red states, Cognitive.
YES YES YES Tax the internet until the very last hysterical henny penny sky-is-falling, disasterbating, house-bound, agoraphobic, liberal troll is gone.
Then maybe we can have some fun with this once all the trailer dwelling minimum wage keyboard comandos are gone.
ahedou,
I agree with you.
I love it when poor people end up paying an outrageous percent of their income on sales taxes.
